March 25 - 27, 2007
The Midwest has officially landed on the pastry map. The Pastry Professionals Association is presenting The Midwest Pastry Seminar, a three day educational opportunity featuring nationally noted instructors and covering a wide range of topics of interest in today’s pastry industry. Attendees will participate in each of the following six seminars over the three days, as well as two additional nightly demonstrations.
| Susan Notter | The Backdrop for Plating Desserts |
Eric Bedoucha |
Boutique Desserts in Production |
| Ciril Hitz | Bread Dough Sculpting |
| Michael Joy | Mold Making |
| John Kraus | Petit Fours |
| Anna Paul | The Art of Gelato |
All events related to the Midwest Pastry Seminar will be held at The Art Institute (AI) International Minnesota, located at 15 South 9th Street, in downtown Minneapolis.
Professional chefs, owners, and managers from the hospitality industry who work in or have an interest in the areas of desserts, pastries, breads, sugar and chocolate artistry should mark their calendars to attend as space at the Midwest Pastry Seminar will be limited and is expected to fill quickly.
Taught at the professional level, the $600 seminar fee includes lunch for each of the three seminar days, a chef’s coat embroidered with the Midwest Pastry Seminar’s logo, a seminar notebook containing all of the printed materials for each session, and attendance at the two of the four evening demonstration classes.
