Job Placement
Finding the right career opportunities for our students is as important to us as it is to you. We begin three months into the program with the first of several counseling sessions with you and the chefs. We will work with you to contact potential employers or advise you on new business ideas. A well-placed call to a potential employer, or advice on where to buy secondhand equipment, is an important part of the relationship you develop with the chefs at The French Pastry School.
There are many career directions that our graduates have taken: restaurants, catering, hotels, bakeries, food styling, food writing, food sales, wedding cakes, teaching, research and development, country clubs, cruise ships, new business ventures, chocolate candy businesses, and artistic edible creations, among others.
The French Pastry School has an ongoing relationship with The Ritz-Carlton Group Worldwide, The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, and the Fairmont Hotels for placing students in pastry positions. Other recent graduates have opened their own businesses or are in the planning stages of opening businesses in the near future.
