Internationally known as a shining star
in sugar art and wedding cake decoration,
Nicholas Lodge will teach you decorating
techniques for specialty cakes for baby
showers and celebrations. During this class
you will learn an abundance of decorating
techniques for baby cakes, including a
molded baby under a blanket, cradle and
baby shoes. Chef Lodge will also teach
butterflies, bumble bees, dragonflies and
lady bugs to be created in gumpaste. Students will learn many quick and easy
decorating techniques using the Patchwork
Cutter range. This very innovative collection
will be used for embossing, appliqué, and
side and top designs for cakes, including
several floral themes.
Lodge is the owner of International School
of Sugar and Confectionary Arts in Atlanta,
Georgia, and was inducted into the
International Cake Exploration Societé
(ICES) Hall of Fame in 2001.
