Who does not love to bake cookies? Join Chef Instructor Sébastien Thieffine (bio) at The French Pastry School for this hands-on experience all about cookies! You will make European cookies, including dry recipes like chocolate diamants, caramel almond tuiles, poppyseed cigarettes, and Scottish Shortbread cookies. You will also learn moist recipes such as macarons, Madeleines, and hazelnut financiers. This course would not be complete without classic American recipes like chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter, oatmeal apple cookies, plus fudge and cake brownies! Impress your friends and family with your perfected, classic cookies.

Chef Sébastien Thieffine, pastry chef/instructor at The French Pastry School is devoted to the pastry arts, and is known as curious and dedicated. Thieffine has appeared on numerous local and national publications and also on The Food Network’s “Follow that Food” and most recently won the bronze medal and the Best Pastry Dégustation at the 2004 National Bread & Pastry Team Championship.
