Pierre Hermé
He has been called the “Picasso of Pastry’ by Vogue Magazine, has written over two dozen highly acclaimed cook books, and has also received the "Chevalier de la Legion d'honneur", the highest distinction in France, from former French President Jacques Chirac on May 3rd, 2007.
World renown Chef Pierre Hermé is a legend in the pastry industry, and his inspirational take on the art has elevated him to a stature few will achieve. The French Pastry School, in its effort to continually be on the forefront of education is proud to present a very exclusive opportunity with Chef Hermé, with a 2 day workshop taught by the master himself.
This once in a lifetime workshop is open to only 20 chefs. The workshop will enable each chef to dive into an intense taste of the creations of Chef Hermé, as well as see his visions come to life via a series of demonstrations and tastings. The event includes other celebrity chefs and instructors from The French Pastry School, and should prove to be a captivating and instructional tutelage for a select few.
Hand picked celebrity Chefs will be providing 4-course lunches along with a very special private dinner with Chef Hermé on Sunday night. To conclude the workshop, The French Pastry School will host a VIP reception on Monday night where Chef Hermé will sign your copy of his book.**
Don’t forget to take advantage of the National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show that will be taking place in conjunction with The French Pastry School event. Visit www.restaurant.org/show for more information.
**Make sure to purchase one of his books ahead of time.
5% of each entry is donated to the For the Love of Chocolate Scholarship Foundation
