The French Pastry School hosts a career fair for students and alumni

Our students receive hundreds of hours of intensive, hands-on education every term. The goal of The French Pastry School is not only to teach students the techniques and theories behind gaining a new skill but also to make sure they can translate that skill into a successful career.

Recently, The French Pastry School organized a career fair exclusively for its students and alumni so they could be introduced to the job opportunities available to them. Students were able to converse with potential employers, schedule stages, and submit resumes and applications.

Here are the businesses that were in attendance:

  • BOKA Group
  • Eataly
  • Food For Thought Catering
  • Horsehoe Casino
  • Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises
  • Nordstrom
  • Oak Mill Bakery
  • Paramount Events
  • Potawatomi Hotel & Casino
  • Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique
  • Sugar Fixe Patisserie
  • Swirlz Cupcakes
  • The Bristol, Balena, and Formento's
  • The Broadmoor
  • Treasure Island Foods
  • Wilton Brands

The current term will graduate on December 19, 2014. New sessions of the full-time programs, L'Art de la Pâtisserie and L'Art du Gâteau begin on January 5, 2015 - the school is still accepting applications.  For more information, please contact or visit the Programs page.
