International Students

The French Pastry School of Robert Morris University Illinois is pleased to accept international students to its full-time programs, the 20-week Pastry and Baking Program (L'Art de la Pâtisserie) and the 10-week Cake Program (L'Art du Gâteau).  International Students are required to take a few additional steps in the application process. 

The application fee for international students is $100.

 

Types of International Students

The French Pastry School accepts three types of international students: 

  • Applying as a new International Student from your home country
  • Applying as a Transfer International Student
  • Applying as a new International Student requiring a Change of Visa Status

We strongly encourage you to contact us for further assistance and step-by-step guidance.  
 

Language Requirements

Students from countries where English is not the official language must take either the TOEFL or the IELTS.

TOEFL

The TOEFL examination is accepted with:

  • 500 on the paper-based test, or
  • 173 on the computer-based test, or
  • 61 on the Internet-based test with a minimum of 15 points in each test category

IELTS

The IELTS examination is accepted with a 5.5 or better cumulative band score, with no less than 5.0 in any subject area.
