Elaine Kilby
Admissions Counselor
Elaine Kilby joined The French Pastry School in 2007 and has since worked in the Admissions department serving students in various capacities. Her primary focus is guiding potential full-time students through the admissions process as well as assisting current students with their career paths. Elaine attended The French Pastry School in 2005 and completed L'Art de la Pâtisserie, The Professional Pastry and Baking program in June of that year. After graduating, she worked at Adria, the restaurant of The Fairmont Hotel Chicago before returning to the School as a Graduate Intern Assistant. Upon completion of the internship program, Elaine worked at a European imports company as a sales associate. Prior to attending The French Pastry School, Elaine spent five years in Washington, DC working for a non-profit organization, Industrial Research Institute, where she ran their financial department. She brings with her the unique perspective of a career changer that successfully transitioned into the pastry field. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a minor in French from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. Elaine also pursued studies in France at the Collège International de Cannes.
