While Adriana enjoyed the interaction with people and the travel associated with working in business, she decided to pursue her lifelong dream and true passion in the Culinary Arts, and she signed up for the 24-week program. Adriana earned her certificate in 2007 in L’Art de la Pâtisserie with honors from The French Pastry School, and stayed on as the Lead Assistant for one year giving her the exceptional opportunity to assist some of the top chefs in the world, like Chefs Pierre Hermé, Oriol Balaguer, and Bronwen Weber. After finishing the internship, Adriana accepted a position in the pastry department at The Everest Room in Chicago, Illinois, one of the country’s premier French restaurants. Pursuing the additional opportunity in the Admissions Department at The French Pastry School allows her to use her past business experience and detailed knowledge of the school to help potential students successfully pursue their own passion in the Pastry Arts. |
