Juan Salceda is the Student Finance Director at The French Pastry School at Kennedy-King College of City Colleges of Chicago.  Juan attended a top vocational school in Atlanta, Georgia before deciding to move to the windy city to study at Loyola University of Chicago.

As a graduate of a vocational school, he offers a personal connection to the benefits of our program and the journey of our students.  Juan has been working in Financial Aid for vocational/trade schools for several years; first as an advisor and most recently, as a director.  In addition, he comes to us with over a decade of experience in the financial industry and a deep understanding of Higher Education funding.  As an active member of the financial aid community, thru organizations like NASFAA (National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators), Juan has focused on providing financial literacy to students over the years.  

In his free time, passionate for the food and pastry industry, Juan has traveled across the world to places like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Mexico, and experienced the Art of Gastronomy.
